Aaron Starks
Aaron grew up watching his grandmother, Gloria Hobbs, welcome individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities into her own Louisville home — not as patients, but as family.
When Gloria passed in 2009, Aaron carried her spirit with him. In 2015, he founded Gloria Homes to honor her legacy—a place where every guest is treated with the same warmth, dignity, and unconditional love that defined his grandmother's care.
Today, Gloria Homes continues that mission — providing premium respite care that gives caregivers peace of mind and gives every guest a true home away from home.
In Memory of Gloria Hobbs
1941 – 2009
Gloria Hobbs didn't run a business. She opened her home. She didn't provide services. She provided love. For decades, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities found not just care in her home — they found belonging.
